Guess it's time..
...I said hello. I'm a newbie here, but have been writing for a while, beginning ten years ago on Usenet. After a long sabbatical, an old friend persuaded me to take a look around here. After some frustration with a few other web-based story sites, I've had a very warm reception here. Just when I was prepared to give up putting words together in filthy ways, many here have convinced me to reconsider. I'm still a bit stunned, but thought it was time I let some of you know how much your kindness is appreciated.
