[Daes]

The Requiem

Every day passes like a waking dream
While I'll be cold to the touch and blankly watching
Awaiting, contemplating my sweet transition
To be standing tall before those gates
I'll light my ways to guide you here
I smile on you for the pain to dissipate
Though I walked then, I walk no more

Cry no tears under the skies and I'll be gliding over the shores
These days are gone, but I have found my place
And flowers shall grow by the stones
And autumn rains shall wash these old sorrows away
So smile for me and shun such despair
I am happy now in my redemption
Though I walked then, I walk no more

Let the breeze graze o'er that heart so torn
Your eyes are the books of my own depression
But we are not truly apart
I gaze upon the same stars and nights
Out of reach... but never out of touch
No more fears, I am watching you
Your smile would set my weary soul free

If could you only smile for me


Masquerade

None better to play, none better to wear
Plastered smiles of hidden indiscretions
Everything is just a game where you bet your tears
How much of a heart is worth bartering
How many pains would you risk to feel alive again
And many more to find someone who cares

Searching for something you never know would be there
All the failed attempts were all in vain
Trying to grasp hold of what we saw once when
When will the end come to silence these fears
When shall everything be at peace again
Cover the window, wish not to be seen

High cheeks, glimmering eyes can’t hold the light
Nail your lips that they be forever drawn
Extend a hand all in good pardon
(Even if the soul burns and withers within)
What can they offer in lack of understanding
What nightmares reside within the heart

Masquerade, none better to play, none better to wear
Plastered smiles of hidden indiscretions
Everything is a game where you bet your tears
None shall ever know, ever feel that torment
It grows within, ever un-daunting as it resonates
The poison grows behind smiles, masquerade


The Silence

Your touch makes me bleed from the inside out
And though Id scream, you turn your face away
Ignore my cries to harden from the pain
While you choke me, burn me, the agony fills my days

Every word tinged with hate, and you’ll push them through my heart
Like blackened daggers tipped with poison
Seeping into my skin, you tear me apart
Nothing to remedy this endless suffering

These tears that flow shall never end, drown my soul
I’ll sing to the heavens of this enraptured despair
Allow me some peace, some release, I’ve taken this toll
Just one moment, let me breathe, one moment eternity..


Blood on my Hands (a song)

In your dreams lies a darkness,
In your eyes broods a hatred, a blood lust so divine.
The surreal admiration of unrestricted suffering,
Of children choking on the rising river
The marble coldness of their stoned eyes…

No exception, Ill cleanse your soul with your blood on my hands.

This demon inside screams for the blood,
This demon inside wages war,
And the walls are falling, the cage is trembling.
How long shall we wait until the chaos breaks free.

Devour all, take the pleasure..
Poison the holy, we’re forever unbound.
The Gates are forever closed, the whispers find you.
There will be justice, obscure, so out of place.
The wails shall hail from the heavens, as she cries out
For her children.

The demon will smite those before me,
No more tears, no more pain.
Stand trail by those you have wronged,
See if you are still standing then

I’ll slice your tongue, kiss you dear.
The blood runs warm, the horror sweet.
My world, full of agony, unrelenting pain, never-ending sacrifice,
I shall find you. You shall feel the wraith.
I will make you suffer as Ive suffered.

Revenge and justice comes in time,
For every scar, a new abrasion,
For every tear, a cry for ressurection
You cant escape, I shall find you,
Rendering the agonies she always knew

This demon inside screams for blood,

And as you scream my heart will cry out,
in all pain, in all joy, these tears are the markings
of my revenge, you will pay, you will pay,

Return to Life

There is no time here, only to waste away within
The pains we take to withhold every tear and every sin
Thus enveloped the heart, twisted the reasons
No one shall ever know or ever see the bars of my prison
O, what Id give to share with you, all the secrets I’ve uncovered

How unfair the burden, how unworthy of that pain
I’ll stay here, like a rose in the rain
No, there is none better to bare than I, my dear
Best turn away to leave your trail of tears
Leave you blind for secrets never worth the endeavor..

The heart cries out for some form of redemption
Growing sick and weak from these conditions
Could there be but some form of surrender
That I could give in to delve within a finer splendor
Of a peace so fine to be at rest, even if I never rise

Could I be spared one more tear, one more night in contemplation
One release before war returns in its cruel succession
Let me breathe but once before the fire burns
Regain my strength to withstand the cruel return
For alone I’ll always be, alone in my reprise


Wither Inside

We wither inside, dying, crying
Our masquerades can only last so long
Hide my mask, tired of trying
The dance we play through pain

If there were some escape, would you love me still
For I find this darkness consuming me
You write your pain on me with a blade for a quill
I’ll suffer for the torment you bear

No longer wanting to cry empty tears
The soul does need its release
No longer wanting to be pinned by fears
This is not how it was meant to be…

Whispers tantalize every sense
The cold brutality of passion
Make me cry and beg for more
While waiting for you to take it away
Close my eyes and breathe

Your eyes confine me to a cage
A deadlock of undefined metallic romance

Death of Night

The stars of night reflect angels’ cries
The last hope in the darkness brightly shines
Night is quiet and soundly dreaming
Offering peace to the mind in silent screaming
Shadows whisper their gentle lullabies

Keep the dawn at bay but a moment more
Keep the garish light, its wretched golden gore
It burns my eyes with shame, turn my face away
Let my soul rest in the night, let it forever stay
Such suffering have I ever lived through before

My love, my night, slain by the sun
Betrayed me, seared me, with the rising dawn

A Love Too Late

Push me aside and let me drown
You would never know I was even there
Pouring out heart and soul for a glance my way
Let everything fade and dissipate

There was no water to douse the flame
We loved, we laughed, I grew
I seem to have left you in your place
The light has died, no warmth to face

You wouldn’t know it, couldn’t comprehend
How much I loved you in the time we shared
It was too late when you found my hand and held it dear
I’ve crumbled to the ground, you’ve stripped me bare
