Log-in issues

I have a number of log-in issues to raise.

1. When posting, especially if I have taken any time about it, I find I have been logged out without warning.

2. When entering the Chat Room, I am frequently not recognised and am listed as Unregistered. This can happen several times in a row!

3. When entering the Academy, I am not recognised at all when I log in. If I click on the "register" link on the log-in page, I am taken to a page which tells me I am already registered and to log in normally. (If I do this, I am in a loop!) So I click on one of the links to (say) profile, and that seems to get me in. But I'm sure I'm not meant to.

I have been told I can tell the machine to "remember me." But for domestic reasons, I don't think that's a workable fix for me.

... I'm about to press "Submit New Thread" ... will it work? Here goes nothing ....

Sounds like firewall issue. Could be a cookie thing as well.

yep make sure your broswer is set to accept all cookies ----and also make sure when you log into the forum you check the remember me box before you hit the log in button ----if that does not work try turning off your fire wall ---and try it --one more thing make sure your browsers privacy setting is not set higher than medium ---
