As an illustration, the ward I live in has only Labour and Conservative candidates available for local elections. I would never willingly vote for either party. If I were a sub and under orders to vote, I would have to spoil my paper by writing in a huge 'NONE OF THE ABOVE'. In fact, I just don't go.
