Hi. I'm on Ortho Lo, which is one of the ones with a week of dummy pills. I find my period routinely comes earlier than it should - sometimes up to a week earlier. My doc said to be sure I was taking all my pills at the same time of day instead of whenever I felt like it, and that helped. Time also helped. In the first year or so on the pill the irregularity is more common.

My doc said that as long as I'm up to date with my pill, I can't get preggers no matter how much I start bleeding. You could call a doctor, or possibly even the pill company, and ask about it.

I can see how the hair dryer would eliminate some of the oozy goodness... what about spermicide gel?
