As far as if you can have your wife as a "true" submissive, never let anyone define what that would really be, except you and your wife. If anyone else gives you a definition that isn't what you think. Then they are the ones who are wrong. Not you.

Remember, the relationship you have with your wife, and how you conduct your marriage is of your choosing, if you and her want her to be submissive, and whatever actions you decide define that. Then that is how it is.
