You can play on line. but the only way is to live real time. You should visit a potential master, see how he lives, learn his philosophy, and be wise. If you do not want to live as he does then don't continue. The right master will give you a feeling of security, and confidence as he leads you forth in a way that makes sense and produces the results you hope for. There are two forms of love there is the noun form and the verb form. the verb form is all that most people have. The noun form, is absolute. Love in the noun is not good or bad, it just is. the opposite of that is evil. To illustrate love in noun is like my feeling for my boys. I will never stop loving them regardless of how boneheaded they can be. It just is love in the noun. That is the foundation from which all good master/slave relationships start. remember you and he may choose to move on but the noun love stays.
