Great idea Katmandu. However, what to do if the Wolf himself is wielding the paddle?

I like to use something with strong, pumping beat. I have some CDs with various kinds of drumming and I find that inspiring - even if the noise is equal - at last it is less implicating.

However - for some types of scenes I find the silence essential. Anything not cuming from us is very annoying and distracting.

I don't think I could scene to a howling wolf but the sound is precisely why I don't tend to scream unless I'm laughing that is.
