All too many people are all too open about what they post on the social networks imo. Kink not withstanding, employers use those sites now as part of your background checking. Neighbors learn intimate details, financial woes, family squabbles. Strangers can stalk. Thieves know when you're out of town. It's crazy.

Neighbors learn intimate details, financial woes, family squabbles. Strangers can stalk. Thieves know when you're out of town. It's crazy.

Precisely why I DON'T have one. I like my anonymity, and even my email doesn't really give away who I am because there are tons with the same name as myself. I don't want people to learn everything about me by googling me!
