    I lost my sub

I have a hard time with the fact I lost my sub. I always had a deep desire for her for years. We were friends before anything else.
Over the years she finally left her husband and was with me. I was in heaven, I felt my prayers were answered. We were like kids in love and had so much fun and many fantasies realized. I think I created a monster though and she could not seem to want to be with one person. She went back to her hum-drum life and seemed to always be hiding something or lying. I don't want to seem like I'm whining, I just want to know if any other doms have been through this. I miss her so much and we put each other through hell.
I really believed she was the one. It seems people like us rarely realize our dreams. Feedback from subs would be ok too.
    Thanks for listening.

Hi imadom....I just wanted to say I am sorry that things didn't turn out the way you wanted for you and your sub. But I am sure that a lot of Doms and subs have gone through what you have described, or at least the losing part...with just maybe a different background story. But if she was or seemed to be lying or hiding things from you, then that would not have made for a good relationship anyway, imho. It is always hard to lose someone you love...I know...I have been there. But try to focus on the positive things she brought to you. And remember this quote...Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. I got that one from a friend...and it has helped me through some rough times. I hope it will help you!

Be careful what you wish for

I can sympathize completely. I kind of pushed...Ok, I DID push my ex-wife into getting into the swinging scene, group sex etc etc. It was great right up to the point where she left me for one of the guys she met during the "fun". I have been very fortunate that I finally met a new very sweet sub and we currently live together happily. The ex has been married to that guy for about 10 years now.

I've thought about introducing the current girl friend to play parties and such, but I'm hesitant because of my history.

Hang in there. Another will come along when you least expect it.

    Been there

My ex slept with my best friend and then threw me out after 15 years of marriage so I totally sympathize. Like MrJerseyGuy I got lucky and found the love of my life BUT I learned a lot from that experience. Try to look at this as LTP said but also try to remember that people change. It's unfortunate but it's true.
I will keep you in my prayers and lots of warm hugs.

You are very welcome Sir...and of course you can bleed...you are human after all! When we fall for someone that doesn't or can't return those same feelings...it is very difficult to get through or past....but believe me Sir.....time will heal your wounds. I wish your time of healing to be quick yet thorough!
